Arjan Meddens
Arjan Meddens, a PhD student in Environmental Sciences, is specialized in remote sensing and forest ecology. He is currently working on remote detection of insect defoliation on multiple scales. He is interested in the impacts of forest disturbance on local to global scales and the dynamics of forest ecosystem functioning in the light of natural processes, climate change, and other anthropogenic impacts.
